Getting Started with Reading Status Tracking from Your Kindle Highlights

Kindle highlights are a great reminder of which book to return to. But the Kindle sync timestamp alone can't tell you where you actually are with a book.

Reading status in LayerGlyph

In LayerGlyph, you can set one of the following statuses for each book:

• Want to read
• Reading
• Read
• Paused / On hold
• Want to reread
• Did not finish

We never guess "read" for you

A book isn't automatically marked "Read" just because it has highlights. Status is information you set yourself, inside LayerGlyph.

By combining highlights, highlight notes, book reviews, and reading status, you can turn a pile of books you only read once into a shelf you can actually return to.
